About our music

McLaughlin’s Alley plays a mix of pop-rock covers and originals and Irish favorites, both old and new. At our gigs, you’ll hear everything from La Bamba, How to Save a Life, If I Had a Thousand Dollars and Smile to Whiskey in the Jar and Black Velvet Band. Our signature sound: rich, three-part harmonies.

We play as a five-piece band (12-string guitar, bass, drums, ukelele and flute) or as an acoustic trio (with 12-string guitar, acoustic bass and ukelele. We fine-tune our playlists to suit the venue and the occasion. (When people are dancing, we keep it uptempo! Around St. Patrick’s Day, we’ll dig deeper into our Irish repertoire.)
